Experienced Site Construction Manager

Overview

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an experienced site construction manager.

• Leading construction administration activities for multi-discipline construction projects in accordance with the project contract and schedule.
• Conducting daily construction inspections to ensure proper installation of equipment.
• Managing the flow of project communications including submittals, RFIs and supplemental instructions.
• Ensuring safety standards are being followed.
• Creating daily construction reports.

• Travel to construction sites is an essential function of this position; a valid driver’s license is required.
• The successful candidate must have a combination of education and/or experience totaling eight years of relevant experience. Acceptable combinations include:
• Associate degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline plus six years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related discipline plus four years of experience.
• No degree plus eight years of experience.

• Experience with construction management for three or more projects valued at $50M (or greater) in size.
• Experience with pre-cast concrete food plant construction.
• Experience with construction scheduling.
• Experience processing paperwork such as RFIs, change orders, supplemental instructions, requests for payment, etc.
• Experience arranging and conducting site meetings.
