The Construction Superintendent will take ownership of renovation projects from move‑out to completion. This role requires strong project management, vendor coordination, and financial oversight skills, with a focus on delivering projects that are on time, on budget, and exceed owner expectations.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough move‑out inspections.
- Build accurate and detailed renovation estimates.
- Obtain owner approvals efficiently.
- Onboard, coordinate, and manage vendor partners.
- Perform quality control on completed renovations.
- Revenue Rate:
Percentage of estimated revenue approved by owners. - Close Rate:
Percentage of projects approved. - Margin:
Profit percentage on renovations. - Project Lifespan:
Average days from move‑out to completion. - Owner Retention:
Reduction in churned units/owners.
- 5+ years of construction management or project management experience (multi‑family or residential renovation strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and profitability.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools/software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
