How You’ll Contribute

The Preconstruction Engineer will be responsible for supporting the preconstruction team including take‑offs, estimate preparation, subcontractor outreach, and data management while being actively mentored and developed by senior team members.

• Perform quantity take-offs under supervision of Preconstruction Managers and Estimators.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets and bid packages.
• Conduct subcontractor outreach and collect bid information.
• Support design review, constructability analysis and data tracking.
• Participate in client and design team meetings as appropriate.
• Learn company systems, processes and standards through hands‑on training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in construction, estimating or internships.
• Strong desire to learn and build a career in preconstruction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exposure to estimating software a plus.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational skills are important.
