Concrete Finisher​/Cement Mason - Commercial

Raineri Construction is seeking professional Commercial Concrete Finishers to join our growing team. (Experienced Only)

This job pays a prevailing wage which consists of an excellent starting base rate of $45/hr., plus fringe benefits which include health insurance, vacation and 401K. A minimum one year of commercial concrete flatwork & finishing experience is required, as clearly demonstrated on your resume.

Performs a variety of tasks including placing, finishing, protecting and repairing concrete in a safe and efficient manner and according to federal and state heavy highway regulations.

• Finish all types of concrete, residential and commercial, using various hand and power tools.
• Inspect finished concrete work.
• Positioning molds and forms checking for proper construction.
• Setting forms to desired grades.
• Monitoring weather elements for effect on concrete.

• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Basic understanding of construction costs, scheduling and quality.
• Self‑motivated, deadline driven, highly organized and a team player.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
• Experience with various concrete hand, gas & electric tools and light machinery.
• Experience pouring concrete.
• Experience with set up, grade and form work.
• Experience REQUIRED in all types of finishes and be able to inspect finished work.
• Experience directing equipment drivers/trucks.
• Ability to operate skid loaders is a plus.

• One year or more of concrete flat work & finishing experience REQUIRED.
• Has completed, or will complete within first work week, the OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Course (Raineri will provide training at no cost if needed).
• High School Diploma or GED.

• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to traverse uneven walking/working surfaces at jobsites.
• Able to climb stairs at jobsites.
• Able to wear all required personal protective equipment as necessary.
• Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
