Project Scheduler – Data Centre Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to join our team and play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of data centre projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project controls and scheduling, with expertise in Primavera P6. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules for data centre projects using Primavera P6.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, including critical path analysis, resource allocation, and progress updates, to project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with project controls standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Support risk management activities by identifying schedule risks and contributing to risk mitigation planning.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and integration of project schedules.
- Proven experience as a Project Scheduler, preferably within the data centre or construction industry.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
- Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling methodologies, and critical path analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications in project scheduling or project management (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP) are a plus.
- Develop and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deliverables.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather data and provide scheduling insights.
- Analyze project performance and provide recommendations to optimize timelines and resources.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and address potential scheduling conflicts or risks proactively.
- Support project reporting by preparing detailed schedule-related documentation.
