The
Financial Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the financial health of the practice by managing billing, payments, insurance claims, and patient accounts. This position ensures accurate financial records, timely reconciliation, and excellent service to patients and families regarding financial inquiries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in dental or medical office billing and financial operations.Website: St. Louis Kids!

- Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile daily deposits
- Submit, track, and follow up on dental insurance claims
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments
- Explain treatment costs, insurance coverage, and payment options to families
- Respond to patient financial questions in person, by phone, and electronically
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent;
Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred. - 2+ years of experience in billing, bookkeeping, or financial coordination (dental/medical office experience a strong plus).
- Proficiency with practice management or dental billing software (e.g., Dentrix, Eagle Soft, or similar
- Strong understanding of insurance billing and claims processing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
