Landscape Architect

We are currently seeking a Landscape Architect to join our St. Louis team. In this role you will lead and contribute to a wide range of projects, overseeing all phases from concept development through construction administration. You may also be responsible for defining project scope, delivering strategies, and creating detailed work plans to ensure successful project delivery.

• Design, review, and guide planning projects, supporting internal team members and consultants.
• Design and manage landscape architecture projects.
• Develop, modify, and review drawings for landscape architecture projects.
• Demonstrate creative thinking abilities and contribute to firmwide design excellence and problem solving.
• Incorporate integrated sustainable design solutions into projects.
• Demonstrate understanding of the relationship between design and constructability.
• Participate in managing client relationship.
• Assure HOK document standards are met and archive documents appropriately.
• Assist in preparation of proposals; participate in interviews and public presentations.
• Understand intra‑company agreements, contracts, and deliverables and assure HOK standards for project management are met.
• May mentor and direct the work of staff.
• Proactively engage staff and provide opportunities for development.
• Actively promote collaborative and innovative culture.
• Foster a commitment to external and internal client service.

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or architecture plus 5 to 10 years’ experience; or equivalent in appropriate education and experience required. Master’s degree in landscape architecture or urban design may also be required.
• Registration with current license required.
• LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.

• Travel may be required.
