Senior Residential Revit Drafter

Job Description

Agape Construction, a residential remodel design-build company, is seeking a SENIOR REVIT DESIGNER with hands on RESIDENTIAL REMODEL experience drafting construction documents from as-built drawings through permit sets of drawings for residential remodels, additions and new homes in order to obtain necessary permits.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have 5+ years experience using REVIT to draft RESIDENTIAL drawings/construction documents including:
  • As-builts
  • Bid Sets
  • Permit Sets
  • Contract Sets
• Have experience using REVIT LT or better
• Take accurate measurements of existing house noting exact location of structural items
• Have knowledge of residential construction means and methods
• Be able to produce bid and contract sets of documents requiring minimal level of review
• Be able to read and understand construction documents and details
• Have advanced knowledge of local municipalities' site planning requirements, ie. zoning, stormwater
• Be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office software - Excel, Word, Outlook

Bonus experience- Big plus if you also have experience:

• Reviewing and submitting construction documents to municipal Architectural Review Boards and Boards of Adjustment
• Experience using Enscape 3D modeling program
• Obtaining permits from multiple local municipalities
