Job Overview
SLUCare Neurology is seeking an Academic Headache Specialist who can lead a headache specialty clinic. The ideal candidate will be early- or mid‑career and passionate about leading clinical care, education, and research. SLU is committed to significant 5‑year growth in Neurosciences, making this a unique opportunity for a physician who wants to build a new clinic and advance the department’s academic mission.
Requirements- Licensed physician and neurologist with experience in headache treatment.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in neurology.
- Headache fellowship training preferred, but not required.
- Interest in education, research, quality improvement, and/or leadership for academic pursuits is also needed.
- 2‑year salary guarantee.

Saint Louis University Hospital is a 395‑bed tertiary care center with a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level One Trauma Center, Level 4 Epilepsy Center, and Comprehensive ALS Center of Excellence. The hospital offers DBS surgery, epilepsy surgery, MEG, TMS, quantitative EEG, TCDs, botox, infusion centers, a 20‑bed neurocritical care unit, and a six‑bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU).
