OverviewWe are seeking a tenth neonatologist to join our progressive, growing neonatal practice at Mercy Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities- We have a team approach toward care in this 100-bed, Level-IV NICU
- Average daily census of 90, with 1,500 admissions and more than 10,000 deliveries annually
- Neonatologists and NNPs provide 24-hour, in-house care
- We provide a challenging clinical environment including conventional and high-frequency (both HFJV and HFOV) ventilation, nitric oxide and whole body cooling
- Our team works in close collaboration with a full complement of pediatric sub-specialists, including pediatric surgery, in a suburban Children's Hospital environment
- We have been long time members of the Vermont‑Oxford network and our VON team maintains continuous involvement in QI initiatives
- We also provide neonatal services at two nearby Level‑II NICUs with NNPs in-house 24 hours and neonatologists taking call from home
