BJC Medical Group is a multi‑specialty organization affiliated with top‑ranked hospitals in the Midwest. With over 600 physicians, the practice delivers exceptional patient care across 145 locations in the greater St. Louis area.

Practice Details
  • 11 highly trained cardiologists and 4 cardiology nurse practitioners
  • Established referral base for immediate patient volume
  • Monday through Friday, 36 patient hours per week
  • Main clinic on hospital campus with on‑site cardiac and vascular support
  • Shared call schedule 1:6 with nurse practitioner weekend support

Role Purpose

The physician provides direct patient care within cardiology, manages medical records, and collaborates with advanced practice providers and the care team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage medical care of patient panel, including inpatient hospital care and coordination with hospitalists
  • Deliver patient encounters, including history, physical, and documentation per medical staff bylaws
  • Arrange call coverage for clinic and inpatient patients in compliance with BJC policies
  • Collaborate and teach advanced practice providers and support staff
Minimum Requirements

Education:

Doctorate in Medicine

Experience:

< 2 years

Licenses & Certifications
  • Board eligible or board certified in cardiology
  • Licensed physician
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience:

    2‑5 years in cardiology
