SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is actively recruiting for a full-time Academic Geriatric Physician. SLUCare Physician Group geriatric specialists are internationally recognized experts on aging. As physician researchers and educators with Saint Louis University School of Medicine, our doctors have developed geriatric assessment tools and techniques used throughout the world.

• Clinical opportunities include ambulatory medicine clinics, long‑term and skilled nursing facilities, and inpatient care.
• Teaching and oversight of students, residents and fellows in all clinical care sites.
• Support for geriatric medicine and palliative care fellowship programs.
• Monday ‑ Friday 8am ‑ 5pm academic/clinical services.

• Academic practice at a Level 1 trauma center.
• Longstanding geriatric medicine fellowship: 35 years of geriatric medicine and over 140 fellows trained.
• Academically active at national meetings for AMDA, AGS, AAHPM.
• Active GWEP HRSA grant.

SLUCare’s more than 600 faculty and other academic medical professionals and staff are now a dedicated academic physician division within SSM Health – St. Louis and continue their work as researchers and educators. They will collaborate with SSM Health Medical Group’s more than 600 community‑based providers to deliver care at more than 50 physician office locations, as well as through comprehensive virtual and digital health services.
