The Basics Of This PositionThe Educational Assistant II participates in designing, delivering, evaluating, and improving services to students and faculty in support of the learning programs of the College.
What You'll Do- Provides one-on-one user end technical support to a diverse group of computer lab users (students and faculty) and helps them learn new technologies
- Maintains and manages computer lab supplies, ensuring availability
- Supervises student employees in the department and provides guidance and training
- Assists students with their technical needs and ensures they have the necessary resources
- Administers tests and reports scores to students
- Informs students of College and department policies and procedures, and informs students of job openings
- Checks equipment for repair needs and notifies the appropriate persons
- Helps students with problems and makes appropriate referrals
- Additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of related experience
- Associate degree in a related field with 1 - 2 years of experience
