Position: Lead Student Pastor (Starkville Campus)
Location: St. Louis

Overview

Pinelake Church is seeking a full‑time Lead Student Pastor for its Starkville Campus. The candidate will lead the Student Ministry staff and shepherd students toward discipleship within the church community.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, shepherd, and guide the Student Ministry Staff team.
  • Execute the vision, mission, and direction of the campus and One Church as it relates to the entire Student Ministry.
  • Coordinate and adapt curriculum, events, and worship in partnership with One Church.
  • Collaborate with the Student Ministry team to create and implement a strategic plan to develop relationships at area campuses.
  • Develop staff and servant leaders to engage and equip students to become multiplying disciples.
  • Support and establish a plan for assimilation of students and families into the church ministries.
  • Create and lead a vibrant discipleship plan for parents of students.
  • Participate actively in all three branches of student ministry through teaching and presence.
  • Provide oversight for Pinelake’s Our House Promise strategy within Student Ministry.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
General Responsibilities
  • Work in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.
  • Assist the Director of ministry to achieve excellence in all areas.
  • Participate in campus‑wide ministry events and shepherd the Starkville faith family.
  • Maintain a vital personal walk with the Lord through study, prayer, and community.
  • Support ministries with wise stewardship of resources.
  • Participate in community and practice personal emotional health and spirituality.
  • Obey mission and ministry purposes as guided by Colossians 3:23‑24.
  • Value the 7 Hs of staff culture:
    Humility, Honor, Honesty, Hunger, Holy Spirit, Health, Harmony.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum.
  • Five years of ministry‑related experience or training.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Mac/Windows OS, word processing, spreadsheets, and internet research.
  • Basic bookkeeping and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize and plan multiple tasks, work under stress, and meet deadlines.
  • Physical ability to sit, talk, stand, walk, and reach; able to lift up to 25 lbs.
