We’re looking for a Sales Engineer/Project Engineer or Design Specialist to join our close‑knit St. Louis team. This position bridges engineering, estimating, and customer support to help clients translate operational needs into efficient, practical designs.
What You’ll Do- Design & Draft: Create detailed product drawings and technical specifications using AutoCAD.
- Estimate & Analyze: Evaluate project requirements, materials, and labor to produce accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate: Work closely with sales and operations to develop custom solutions that optimize cost, performance, and manufacturability.
- Support Clients: Respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, and manage orders from start to finish.
- Innovate: Develop and refine products, processes, and layouts that improve client performance and efficiency.
- Experience or education in design, sales, or industrial engineering (degree helpful but not required).
- AutoCAD proficiency and strong analytical or mathematical ability.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently.
- A genuine curiosity to learn and a drive to solve problems creatively.
- Solid communication skills—clear, approachable, and professional (not pushy).
- Bonus points for experience in structural or mechanical design
