• Design, modify, or upgrade new or existing power plant electrical systems.
• Work under the direction of the Electrical Project Lead and collaborate with multi‑disciplined engineering and design teams.
• Develop grounding layouts, conduit routing, cable schedules, conduct and junction‑box support designs, and electrical equipment locating/mounting solutions.
• Produce electrical physical drawings and review vendor drawings into the overall project design.
• Assist engineers with initial design requirements and produce physical construction layout drawings.
• Participate in field walk‑downs and data gathering at client facilities.

• Associate’s Degree in drafting, or high school diploma with equivalent technical design experience.
• 10+ years of detailed physical design experience in grounding layouts, underground duct bank and embedded conduit drawings, cable tray and exposed conduit layouts, and electrical equipment location drawings.
• Experience reviewing electrical physical layout drawings involving equipment outlines and interface points.
• Extensive Micro Station and/or AutoCAD design experience on power plants or large facility projects.
• Thorough understanding of drafting and design practices and theories.
• Strong ability to interface with and communicate to engineering and design teams of other disciplines.
