Support a team of professionals to deliver:
- Traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, traffic simulation, and conceptual planning/design.
- Plan sheets, specifications & estimates, technical memoranda, reports, presentations and other project documentation.
- ITS or emerging technology projects following the systems engineering process.
- Serve in various roles on traffic/ITS projects.
- Actively participate in the team’s production of technical deliverables ranging from plans, specifications, estimates, reports, memorandums, etc.
- Work with Early in Career staff and help review technical work and project documentation.
- Deliver assigned tasks on schedule and budget while adhering to AECOM quality standards.
- Coordinate directly with other discipline groups within AECOM, as well as with external clients and sub‑consultants.
- Perform work in accordance with agreed‑upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
- Independently perform all tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
- Coordinate with Business Development leaders to capture project opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS and 4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Preferred minimum 5 years of experience with an emphasis in civil engineering fields such as traffic control design, traffic studies, ITS engineering, traffic staging within Agency and DOT standards and projects.
- Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain a PE license within 6 months.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Traffic and Traffic Simulation Software and design platforms.
- Ability to work as part of a team or perform independent work as required.
- Good interpersonal skills, strong command of the English language, good time‑management skills, and a positive attitude toward work.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $87,000.00 – $.
