Role DescriptionThe CAD, BIM & 3D Solid Modeling Manager will oversee and manage CAD, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Mechanical, Industrial, and fabrication-related processes, as well as their full implementation across projects, to ensure precision and efficiency. Responsibilities include coordinating workflows, managing virtual design processes, and overseeing the integration of all disciplines possible from soup to nuts with primary focuses on Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire Protection, and Manufacturing related Protections into models, shop drawings with associated Fabrication related details to produce, assemble and install with final as-built related responsibilities to include—not be limited—to its complete lifetime asset management through the facility’s future proofing while capturing its entire lifecycle throughout its entirety.
This is a full-time virtual role based anywhere in the world.
- Must possess a preponderance of passion for their craft, so much so that they need to lead the pack in many disciplines, industries and endeavors.
- Expertise in CAD, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and coordination being able to support LOD 300, 350, 400 to be fabricated, assembled and installed including 500 delivered at a COBie level of professionalism every time to deliver a completely developed package that utilizes the very best that technology offers.
- Excellence in Virtual Design and Construction processes.
- Excellent experience in Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and Fire Protection systems, with further knowledge extending into the manufacturing industry, is a must.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent ability to collaborate and lead a team in a virtual online environment.
- Strong CAD, BIM & 3D Solid Modeling software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, plus capabilities in Solidworks, Inventor, Creo, CATIA, Micro Station, and more preferred).
- Experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, and design-related processes with real-world hands‑on immersion of at least 5+ years is an absolute must.
