As an Electrical Estimator – Service
, you will play a critical role in preparing and delivering competitive proposals for public‑sector electrical maintenance contracts, including traffic signal and street lighting systems. This role partners closely with sales, operations, and project teams to ensure estimates are accurate, compliant, and profitable. You’ll combine technical electrical knowledge with analytical rigor to support service‑based contracts that keep communities safe and connected.

How You’ll Make An ImpactYou will support Green Arrow’s growth by developing accurate, compliant, and competitive estimates for electrical maintenance service contracts while ensuring operational feasibility and profitability.
- Perform routine estimating duties independently using sound judgment, thoroughness, and competence
- Develop quantity take‑offs, analysis, and estimates for electrical labor, materials, and equipment for service contracts
- Understand and differentiate public‑sector maintenance service agreements versus construction contracts
- Apply knowledge of traffic signal and street lighting maintenance processes, logistics, and costs
- Ensure estimates comply with local and state labor, equipment, and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and equipment vendors to obtain current pricing
- Perform serviceability and operational analysis of contract documents and communicate requirements to service teams
- Ensure general conditions and general requirements are properly addressed in estimates
- Evaluate contract feasibility and profitability for operations teams
- Develop value engineering alternatives for traffic signal and street lighting systems
- Act as a liaison between engineers, maintenance supervisors, internal teams, and client representatives
- Prepare extra‑work estimates and proposals (lump sum, GMP, cost‑plus, etc.)
- Participate in estimate reviews with design teams and clients
- Lead project hand‑off meetings to Project Managers to ensure seamless transition from estimate to execution
- Perform additional duties as assigned
