You'll tap into both your creative and analytical sides as you complete CAD designs, collect, and prepare data as well as support project coordination on some of the most cutting-edge projects in our industry.

In this role you'll perform computer aided drafting and basic design of water/wastewater projects. You'll use your experience to produce drawings, create layouts, sketches, and 2D/3D modeling if applicable. You'll also prepare drawings and sketches using CAD workstations, appropriate design criteria, and technical manuals often working closely with engineers to coordinate designs.

Here's what you'll need

* Experience with using Microsoft Office programs

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

* Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, REVIT and/or Bentley 3D platforms.

* Experience with water and wastewater systems design drawings.

* Familiarity with CAD standards

* A technical background in drafting design and experience using CAD software

Ideally, you'll also have:

* Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills

* Ability to work and thrive in a team environment and individually

* Deadline-oriented mindset

* Experience in process mechanical design

* Experience on Metropolitan St Louis Sewer District projects

The base salary range for this position is $ to $70,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
