High Voltage Test Engineer (Connecticut)

- Performon-site AC and DC Dielectric Testing of High Voltage Components (Cable,Switchgear Generators etc.) up to 1000kV.
- Perform on-site installation and commissioning of high voltage, AC, DC, and impulse test systems
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs down to printed circuit board level of high voltage test systems
- Generate Test Reports after completing field testing.
- Customer Interface and Scheduling of Tests.
- On Site Service and Repair of High Voltage Test Equipment.
- Assist with on-site maintenance and testing of medium voltage switch gear.
- BSEE or similar engineering degree
- Familiar with high voltage test equipment and test techniques
- Familiar with PLC and microprocessor based industrial controls
- Familiar with power electronics
- Willingness to travel 50% to projects throughout the US
