Project Manager

The Staff Engineer is an entry-level role supporting DROP Collab’s project teams. Working under the direction of Project Managers, the Staff Engineer takes on delegated tasks, learns DROP’s tools and processes, and builds a strong foundation for a growing career in environmental consulting. This role is a great fit for an early-career engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to grow with a team that moves quickly and welcomes new ideas.

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or a related field
• EIT certification, or actively pursuing a Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferred
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where new ideas and change are constant
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Able to take direction and follow through on delegated work

• Assist Project Managers in tracking project scope, schedules, and deliverables
• Complete delegated project tasks accurately and on time
• Attend client meetings to learn client management and project workflows
• Coordinate with internal teams to help keep projects on track
• Support data collection and entry as directed

• Assist with Industrial User (IU) permit tracking under the direction of a Project Manager
• Support compliance tracking, recordkeeping, and documentation
• Help prepare pretreatment correspondence and reports
• Learn local limits, NPDES, and permit renewal processes

• Occasional travel required for client sites, sampling events, and meetings
