Environmental Engineer
Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager to join our Water team. The position requires 10+ years of experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:- Develop and maintain a client base of municipal clients and water/wastewater utilities
- Recognize and initiate business development opportunities
- Perform and check environmental engineering calculations
- Prepare contract proposals and cost estimates
- Participate in the preparation and checking of environmental construction drawings
- Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks within a project
- Monitor project schedules and budgets
- Lead and mentor junior staff
- Coordinate projects with other business units, as required
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Experience in drinking water, wastewater and/or stormwater design
- Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD (preferred)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must complete a background check
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Master of Science Degree in Engineering (preferred)
SALARY RANGE:Horner & Shifrin, Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package and is committed to fair, competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $125,000 - $170,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
