The Lead Slot Tech oversees the operation of the slot technical department. Is responsible for the successful operation and performance of slot equipment. Ensuring quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience for guests. Maintaining compliance with all Federal, State, and local labor laws as well as licensing regulations. In addition to providing outstanding guest service to internal and external guests.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Ensure consistent high-quality service to all our team members and guests.
- Maintain guest service standards and ensure team members perform those standards to achieve a favorable gaming experience for guests.
- Participate in departmental and company meetings.
- Delegate authority, assist the Director with assigning responsibilities and work schedules to department staff.
- Maintain required documentation for all slot machine moves and repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain proper logs in compliance with Gaming Commission regulations and internal controls.
- Maintain an accurate count of all slot machines on the gaming floor and a matching log of licenses.
- Maintain records of all percentage sheets as required by internal controls.
- Complete all government reporting.
- Assist with monitor staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance.
- Manage escalated guest service issues appropriately and discreetly.
- Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
- Communicates pertinent information to senior staff, surveillance, or other necessary team members that is important to the operations of the casino.
- Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
- Ensure satisfaction for guests.
- Follow lawful directions from supervisors.
- Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
- Interact well with others and be a positive influence on team member morale.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- 4-year degree in a related field or related work experience preferred.
- 1 to three years Slot Technical experience required.
- Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have a professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members in the Company.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain state gaming license.
