Overview
Product Connections (Acosta Group) is hiring a Product Demonstrator to assist with in‑store food and non‑food product demonstrations. The associate will proactively engage consumers, prepare and serve food samples, maintain a clean and sterile station, and present a professional appearance consistent with company standards.
Responsibilities- Intercept and engage consumers to demonstrate products in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
- Set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
High school diploma or GED (or one to three months of related experience). Local food handlers permit may be required. Proficient in personal computer or mobile device navigation using applications and internal systems.
Physical demands: stand and walk the shift; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms overhead up to 65 inches; talk and hear; visual ability to read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat; climb or step up ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart;
prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; be in contact with cleaning supplies.
