Overnight Main Bank Cashier

As a Main Bank Cashier at Hollywood Casino & Hotel, you will operate the Main Bank, handle cash counts, perform transfers, and maintain accurate records according to casino procedures.

Shift: Grave shift, starting time 6:00 pm–10:00 pm, ending 2:30 am–6:30 am. Pay: $18 per hour plus tips (average $1.50–$2 per hour).

• Operate Main Bank according to approved procedures and policies.
• Verify count sheet from previous shift.
• Count down bank at end of each shift and reconcile to the Main Bank accountability.
• Complete transfers among Cashiering, Slots, and Table Games locations.
• Complete daily banking deposits of cash, checks, and U.S. coin.
• Buy hard and soft drop from Count Rooms.
• Verify all cash transferred from Soft Count or delivered from Bank.
• Verify and account for all daily banks through department’s procedures.
• Operate Chip Bank according to approved procedures.
• Issue and receive Table Fills and Credits.
• Issue and receive Chip Transfers to/from Cashier locations.
• Expedite Casino Cage procedures.
• Operate employee window (JPH), Poker Room, and frontline Cashier windows according to approved procedures.
• Perform drops, technical troubleshooting, and impressments of self‑redemption kiosks.
• Conduct emergency drop procedures for Slot and Redemption Kiosk equipment.
• Perform needed repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance to currency and coin counters as well as machines located in the Casino Cage and Count Room.
• Evaluate machines that fail to perform to expectations, resulting in fixing or replacing machinery.

• Applicant must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of cash handling experience strongly preferred within high‑volume industries.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in data entry; ability to read and interpret output from a computer.
• Must pass background check and MO Gaming License Process.
• Must present a well‑groomed appearance.
• Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction, accurate record keeping required.
• Dexterity to grip and work necessary items (chips, 10‑key adding machine, money bags, computers, money, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
• Tolerance of areas containing second‑hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Effective navigation of office and high‑traffic areas; respond to visual and aural cues.
