Client Service Associate, Shared Support Team
Join Edelman Financial Engines as a Client Service Associate in our Shared Support Team. This role supports our financial planners by delivering high‑quality customer service and administrative support to clients.

Responsibilities- Coordinate client meetings, including greeting clients, appointment preparation, and supporting completion of required paperwork.
- Supervise client account activity, research and resolve issues.
- Prepare and review all new account paperwork to ensure completeness and compliance.
- Verify accounts are traded into the accurate model and assist operation teams as needed; supervise rollovers, investments, and transfers to ensure accounts are moved correctly.
- Document key client achievements and other data into systems for future interactions.
- Maintain risk awareness and compliance; identify problems in a timely manner following policy and regulatory procedures.
- Support firm initiatives, assist with company‑wide projects, and attend functions as needed.
- Participate in projects, task forces, councils, and product rollouts to ensure the CSA voice is represented.
- 2+ years of experience in a Registered Investment Advisor or Broker/Dealer environment (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
- Good understanding of finance and investment markets/securities.
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and handle challenging demands.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $50,000–$65,000. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonus, health, dental, and 401(k) benefits.
