Branch Accountant

Accountant – Apply accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information and prepare accurate and timely financial reports.

• Apply accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements
• Ensure appropriate accounting control procedures
• Provide input and complete projects as directed to assist with continuous improvement
• Month‑end branch accounting close process
• Financial statement & analysis preparation for assigned branches
• Collaboration with accounting team and assigned branches
• Investor adjustment analysis
• Monitor branch accounting activities
• Weekly loan variance analysis
• Understanding of general ledger transactions
• Accounting practices and policies
• Ad‑hoc & advanced report preparation
• Identify process improvement opportunities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2‑3 years or more of strong Accounting experience in a variety of areas including general bookkeeping, analytical analysis, financial reporting.
• Familiarity and understanding of generally accepted accounting practices and principles, economic principles, applicable laws, codes and regulations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft suite products with emphasis in Excel.
• Demonstrated experience with handling sensitive information.
• This position requires high attention to detail and accuracy, problem analysis and task monitoring amidst time pressures is a must. A high energy performer who enjoys learning new tasks and has a passion for continuous improvement highly desired.
