This role will suit a dedicated and highly motivated financial planner, seeking to build a long-term career with the practice.

Initially working as an associate adviser, you'll work closely with our principal financial planner, developing and expanding your knowledge and expertise. As you undertake comprehensive training and mentoring you'll develop the skills to build your client base, providing first-class, ethical financial advice to doctors and their families across a broad range of relevant areas.

• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of doctors careers, specialties and financial opportunities and challenges
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, referral partners and the team
• With support, manage a group of key clients, providing excellent financial advice and relationship management
• Retain and grow your client base
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Undertake ongoing training, development and mentoring
• Contribute to the team as a positive, reliable and supportive team member

You may be at a stage in your career where you’re ready for an opportunity to put into practice and demonstrate what you’re capable of, or perhaps you've reached a ceiling in your current practice - wherever you are, you'll have a strong desire to expand your range and depth of expertise to develop a long-term career, taking on a key role within the practice.

• Minimum 1yr experience as a qualified financial planner (FASEA-compliant, qualified financial planner)
• Genuine passion for financial planning and helping clients
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive and solution-focused mindset
• Strong technical, analytical and organisational skills
• Reliable, empathetic and genuine, with unquestionable integrity
• Thrive working as a team with other dedicated professionals
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and industry compliance

• XPlan – intermediate working knowledge
• Experience researching, advising & implementing personal insurance advice including Life, TPD, Trauma/Critical Illness, Income Protection & Business Expenses cover
• Certificate IV in Finance (Mortgage Broking)
