Mortgage Processor

Solomon Edwards is partnering with a leading mortgage client to identify a Mortgage Processor who will support daily loan reviews and ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of loan files. This role is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity offering competitive pay, strong benefits, and long‑term growth potential.

• Perform complex data and document validation to ensure loan accuracy
• Conduct daily loan reviews to confirm findings and conditions are met
• Troubleshoot third‑party orders including title, appraisal, hazard insurance, flood certifications, and credit
• Complete appraisal eligibility and review tasks
• Evaluate loan applications for compliance with product and regulatory guidelines
• Handle more complex calls, emails, and chat inquiries from internal and external partners
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• Experience in financial services, with mortgage industry experience preferred
• Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working in loan systems

• Pay rate up to $23/hour, plus 1.5x overtime pay over 40 hours

• This position has a consistently high, on-time conversion rate for contractors who meet performance expectations. At 800 hours (~5.5 months), our contractors are eligible to become permanent employees.
