Solomon Edwards is partnering with a leading mortgage client to identify a Mortgage Processor who will support daily loan reviews and ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of loan files. This role is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity offering competitive pay, strong benefits, and long‑term growth potential.
What You’ll Do- Perform complex data and document validation to ensure loan accuracy
- Conduct daily loan reviews to confirm findings and conditions are met
- Troubleshoot third‑party orders including title, appraisal, hazard insurance, flood certifications, and credit
- Complete appraisal eligibility and review tasks
- Evaluate loan applications for compliance with product and regulatory guidelines
- Handle more complex calls, emails, and chat inquiries from internal and external partners
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Experience in financial services, with mortgage industry experience preferred
- Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working in loan systems
- Pay rate up to $23/hour, plus 1.5x overtime pay over 40 hours

- This position has a consistently high, on-time conversion rate for contractors who meet performance expectations. At 800 hours (~5.5 months), our contractors are eligible to become permanent employees.
- Opportunity to earn a quarterly performance incentive up to $3,300 (approximately $13,200 annually)
