* 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

* Rotating Holidays and Works Every Other Weekend Overview Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St.

Louis Children's Hospital. Missouri Baptist is the first and only hospital in St. Louis County to be named a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The prestigious designation is the highest credential a health care organization can receive for nursing excellence and quality patient care. The Facilities Services Department provides security, telecommunications, housekeeping, maintenance and engineering services for the campus. The various departments work in partnership to ensure the campus, including all of its buildings, parking lots/garages, patient care and common areas are well maintained, clean, attractive, and secure.

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Floor Finisher is responsible for cleaning and refinishing floors (buffing, stripping, waxing) on a regular basis, in accordance with standard procedures of the housekeeping department. May involve terminal cleaning of operating room suites. Responsibilities Performs floor care and project cleaning functions in assigned areas.

Keeps equipment clean and functional according to procedures.

Handles hazardous and infectious waste properly.

Reports defects to supervisor.

Responds to emergency spills according to procedure.
