Progress West Hospital in O'Fallon, MO is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The role offers one‑on‑one patient care and a flexible schedule.

Progress West Hospital is BJC Health Care’s newest hospital in St. Charles County, featuring modern private rooms and 24‑hour emergency services. It partners with St. Louis Children’s Hospital to provide world‑class pediatric emergency care.
The hospital offers surgical services, endoscopy, a cardiac catheterization lab, medical/surgical inpatient services, diagnostic imaging, lab services, and the Advanced Wound Center. It recently expanded its Childbirth Center and operates a newborn ICU that cares for babies born as early as 32 weeks.
Progress West Hospital is a Certified Level II Stroke Center and houses offices for specialists in primary care, cardiology, obstetrics, pediatrics, and orthopedics.
The Therapy Departments provide inpatient services—including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Pathology—to support personalized patient care.
Role PurposeThe Registered Speech Pathologist or Speech Therapist provides skilled speech and swallow therapy services, including all aspects of evaluation and treatment.
Responsibilities- Establish treatment plans and provide treatment, considering discharge needs, expected functional status, and appropriate equipment and supplies.
- Educate, collaborate with, and confer with patients, families, and other health care providers; recommend referrals to specialists as needed.
- Delegate to assistants, techs, and students through written and verbal communication, determining skill levels or competencies required.
- Complete documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
- Provide assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Speech Services.
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
- No prior experience required
- Speech‑Language Pathologist license
- ASHA certification
