Role Purpose
Responsible for the safety and security of patients and families in the hospital playrooms, teen lounge and during special events. Supervises, directs, and coordinates the daily operations of these areas and the work of volunteers. Responsible for daily tracking of needed information.
Responsibilities- Carries out the playroom and teen area activity programs as assigned, including plans and implements group activities that are developmentally appropriate, and assists in the coordination of special events.
- Responsible for the daily safety and security of all patients and visitors and during special events by assuring that safety/security policies and practices are consistently followed.
- Oversees the daily roles and responsibilities of volunteers in the CL areas and during special events by directing them to priority patients and guiding their work.
- Maintains an orderly and safe environment for all patients and families by overseeing and participating in the daily cleaning and maintenance of CL areas.
