• Responsible for food production for patients and commercial meal service to on‑site and satellite facilities.
• Responsible for purchasing and receiving of all food and non‑food items for all cost centers.
• Assures services meet all regulatory agency requirements.
• Works to ensure that food served is nutritionally adequate.
• Shares responsibility of fiscal performance.
• Responsible for overall plant safety and sanitation and planning for future development and construction of plant upgrades.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure:
  Serv Safe Sanitation.
• Experience:
  
  3 years supervisory experience with 1 year food service experience.
• Certifications:
  • Jefferson:
    Food Handlers certification within 90 days of hire.
  • St Louis/South:
    Serve Safe Manager within 90 days of hire. Certified Dietary Manager or Registered and Licensed Dietitian within 1 year of hire.
  • Springfield:
    Serve Safe Manager within 90 days of hire.
  • Washington:
    Serve Safe Manager within 90 days of hire. Certified Dietary Manager or Registered and Licensed Dietitian.
