Phlebotomist II - Saint Louis, MO

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (rotational weekends)

Pay range: $19.31+ per hour. Salary offers consider skills, training, experience, education, certifications, and market factors. Eligible for annual performance bonus.

• Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometrics, insurance exams, etc.)
• Administer oral solutions per training
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab technology systems and contact tools
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately
• Obtain identification, enter billing info, and collect payments per corporate policies
• Process specimens (label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze, prepare for transport)
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, using email
• Read and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures
• Assist with compiling and submitting statistics and data
• Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance logs, temperature logs)
• Complete online and in-person training courses on time

• 3 years phlebotomy (pediatric, geriatric, capillary)
• Keyboard/data entry experience
• Flexible and available for staffing needs (weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record (if applicable)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical aid or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)
