Able Light is looking to add a
full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to their MO Behavior Support team. This position supports adults with a variety of intellectual and developmental disabilities in our group homes, day programs, host homes, independent living and or family homes located in St. Louis
and other surrounding communities.
In this position, the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for assisting the Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with implementing behavior services, providing direct behavioral support to assigned clients, helps individuals with personal outcome measures, assists in collecting data related to any challenging behaviors, assists during crisis events and assists with assessment development, development of treatment materials and other tasks outlined by the Behavior Analyst.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience as a Behavior Technician, DSP (Direct Support Professional), Personal Support Workers, Personal Care Assistants or other similar roles.
- Ability to complete the required RBT training within 30 days, pass the exam and maintain annual recertification of RBT status.
- Ability to meet with clients daily within their home, day program or community based living.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities:
- Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented
- Quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives.
- Assists in the development and implementation of all assessments, training, education, and behavior support plans as outlined by the Behavior Analyst.
- Assists with information gathering for behavior assessments, treatment plans and other behavior services.
- Responsible for documentation on the implementation of the behavior support plans and treatment. This documentation also includes, but is not limited to: program data collection, and daily routine checklists.
- Maintains and documents billable caseload and ensures proper billing entry in Ablelight's billing systems as required.
