As a Floor Finisher, you'll provide a reassuring presence while cleaning maintaining floors throughout our hospital. • Full time - 40 Hours a Week
• 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Rotating Holidays and Works Every Other Weekend

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. The Floor Finisher is responsible for cleaning and refinishing floors (buffing, stripping, waxing) on a regular basis, in accordance with standard procedures of the housekeeping department. May involve terminal cleaning of operating room suites.

• Performs floor care and project cleaning functions in assigned areas.
• Keeps equipment clean and functional according to procedures.
• Handles hazardous and infectious waste properly.
• Reports defects to supervisor.
• Responds to emergency spills according to procedure.
