• Loads and unloads washers per machine guidelines
• Loads and unloads dryers per machine guidelines
• Stretches tangled sheets
• Runs towels through towel folder
• Manually folds towels and bedspreads
• Runs sheets through the ironer at the recommended speed
• Catches (collects) sheets and other linen at the back and stacks them in appropriate carts
• Sorts and soaks stained linen and terry in soaking bins
• Monitors and reports malfunctioning equipment problems
• Transports linen and terry from sort and storage location to washers
• Safely uses all equipment at the required productivity level
• Cleans lint from all machines during and at the end of shift
• Cleans working area regularly
• Works as a team with coworkers
• Maintains a positive attitude at all times

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to work as a team and get along with co‑workers
• Basic arithmetic ability (add, subtract, multiply, divide, count to at least 50)
• Availability to work any day, any shift
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
• Well‑groomed appearance
• Physical fitness: stand, walk, lift at least 50 lb, carry, push/pull, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, talk, and hear
• Manual dexterity, handling linen and garments
• Ability to differentiate color variations
