The RoleThe Recruiter drives the full‑cycle recruiting process for construction, safety, electrical, and mechanical talent across high school, college, and graduate levels. Responsibilities include sourcing, vetting, interviewing, and documenting candidates, collaborating with departments, and representing company culture at career events.
Responsibilities- On‑site/in‑office position.
- Define job responsibilities and qualifications for each open role.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Utilize recruiting programs, networking, employee referrals, and industry events to attract talent.
- Embrace company culture, values, and activities; communicate them to prospective candidates.
- Serve as liaison between candidates and project management.
- Compose and distribute letters, memos, reports, and other correspondence to prospective candidates.
- Execute in‑depth interviews and attend scheduled external events (career fairs).
- Fully manage the entire life cycle of the hiring process.
- Work closely with HR and management on candidate processes.
- Maintain a calendar of phone screens, interviews, travel, and career fairs.
- Maintain confidential information securely and ethically.
- Travel required.
- Two‑year degree in business administration or related experience preferred.
- Experience in the construction industry a plus.
- Strong relationships with candidates, peers, colleges, and universities.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal, typed, and written communication skills.
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail.
- Efficient quality of work.
- Flexible with work hours and able to work independently.
- Willingness to regularly update skills and be self‑motivated.
- Team‑player and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to lift objects at least 25 lbs.
- Must pass pre‑employment and random drug tests.
