Senior Delivery Consultant - App Dev, WWPS Pro Serve

Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Delivery Consultant. In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives.

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team. You will be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. As a Delivery Consultant, you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Basic qualifications include:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software development tools and methodologies
• 3+ years of experience with automation, scripting, and/or software development (e.g., Python)
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Preferred qualifications include:

• Full Stack software development experience (e.g, Python, Angular, React, Java)
• Solid understanding of Dev Ops practices and microservices architecture
• Experience working with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Cloud Formation)
• AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, Dev Ops Engineer Professional) preferred
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
