Engineer - Site Reliability Engineering

Overview

Engineer - Site Reliability Engineering role n our evolving Reliability Engineering team to manage critical shared services, owning availability, performance, and scalability.

• Maintain Service Level Objectives for owned systems and continuously measure and improve availability, latency, and overall system health.
• Write and scale automation to prevent service issues and enable rapid recovery when incidents occur.
• Partner with development teams to enhance system reliability, observability, and release velocity.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, incident response, post‑mortems, root cause analysis, and resolution.
• Advocate strong engineering practices that support scalable, reliable, and performant services.
• Enable cloud migration by working with foundation and migration teams, performing architectural reviews, operational testing, and configuring Datadog dashboards and metrics.
• Engage in continuous learning and development culture.

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with object‑oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or Go.
• Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with one of the following cloud platforms:
  Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Minimum 8‑10 years in the industry.
• Experience with Dev Ops concepts and working practices.
• Experience with algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of identity and access management and application security.
