Edward Jones is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer III to join our Technology Division. This role focuses on the design, deployment, and engineering support of our enterprise branch network infrastructure, which connects over 15,000 branch offices. The successful candidate will ensure secure, scalable, and resilient connectivity using technologies such as SD‑WAN, SASE, enterprise routing and switching, and Wi‑Fi.

Hiring Minimum: $84,100
Hiring Maximum: $143,100
Skills / Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience or certifications (e.g., CCNP, CWNA, etc.) will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in enterprise network engineering, preferably in a distributed branch environment.
- Proven expertise in:
- SD‑WAN design, deployment, and support
- SASE architecture and integration
- Routing and switching (Cisco / Meraki, Arista, Juniper, etc.)
- Enterprise Wi‑Fi (design, deployment, and troubleshooting)
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, Net Scout, Solar Winds).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve complex network issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation and perform after‑hours work for configuration rollouts and maintenance.
- Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and integration with SASE platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.).
- Exposure to financial services industry networking requirements and compliance standards.
- Advanced certifications such as Cisco CCNP, Aruba ACMP, Fortinet NSE, or Palo Alto PCNSA.
