The primary responsibility of the Strategic Sourcing & OTC (Over‑the‑Counter) Materials Analyst is to manage vendor deal registration processes for large commercial projects and facilitate over‑the‑counter materials sales to external customers. This role serves as the key liaison between Tech Electronics and vendors/distributors to secure competitive pricing on fire, security, and AV system components for commercial building projects, while also supporting direct materials sales to contractors and other industry professionals.

- Assist with vendor evaluation and selection processes as needed.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
- Provide backup support for other procurement and sales functions during peak periods or staff absences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field required.
- Technical training in fire, security, or AV systems would be a major plus.
- Two (2) years experience in procurement, sales, or technical support roles, desired.
- Experience with vendor deal registration processes preferred.
- Background in fire, security, or AV systems industry highly desirable.
- Analytical thinking and skills – Excel, SQL, statistics.
- ERP system experience beneficial.
- STRONG analytical skills required.
- Advanced data analysis capabilities.
- Problem‑solving expertise.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to learn and navigate multiple vendor portals and systems quickly.
- Understanding of commercial construction project timelines.
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate order processing.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple deal registrations simultaneously.
