Cyber Exercise Planning and Support Analyst

, you will help shape the readiness, responsiveness, and effectiveness of a Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) supporting federal, DoD, and Intelligence Community partners.
- Lead CSOC participation in all internal and external cyber and business continuity exercises—across Federal, DoD, IC Operations Centers, Red/Blue Teams, CTE Teams, and mission partners.
- Coordinate and facilitate exercise planning efforts to maximize engagement from all CSOC personnel—government and contractor, day and after-hours shifts.
- Create and execute realistic, scenario-driven exercises to evaluate tool effectiveness, operational processes, defensive tactics, and team readiness.
- Develop and maintain exercise documentation, planning artifacts, evaluation metrics, and execution materials.
- Produce detailed After-Action Reports (AARs) that capture key findings and provide actionable recommendations for operational improvement.
- Contribute to the weekly CSOC Status Report with updates on exercise activities and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external mission stakeholders to ensure alignment, participation, and continuous improvement.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
- 6+ years of experience in Information Assurance with demonstrated expertise in exercise planning or cyber readiness activities.
- Ability to meet DoDD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M requirements, including IAT Level II and CSSP Auditor certifications (must obtain within six months if not already held).
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical or cybersecurity field.

- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring; typical salary range is $95-100k.
