Position: Infrastructure Process Manager (Vendor Management)
Location: St. Louis, MO, 63141
Duration: 12 Months
- Manage and govern IT service providers to ensure efficient execution and holistic IT services for the client.
- Provide measurable improvements in vendor service and build strong vendor relationships.
- Manage vendor onboarding, contract, and risk monitoring in collaboration with Procurement.
- Lead vendor sponsored events focusing on future products, industry trends, and strategic direction.
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency in vendor-related processes.
- Develop and maintain vendor education materials and IT SME training.
- Evaluate services of non-strategic vendors and plan for reduction of spend.
- Define service level metrics, analyze data, and report on vendor performance.
- Ensure effective management of vendor contracts and relationships across IT teams.
- Conduct operational and business review meetings with vendors and stakeholders.
- Report on IT cost savings and manage vendor transitions as needed.
- Perform audits and ensure compliance, manage maintenance renewals, and stay informed about projects involving vendors.
- 7-10 years of IT experience with 5-7 years in vendor or contract management.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
- Proven ability to manage critical initiatives and develop vendor management strategies with cost savings.
- Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Leadership in Vendor Management and SLA development.
- Technical understanding of vendor management tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
