Sr Cloud Engineer – St. Louis, MO

Join Mission Technologies to develop cloud solutions for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Leverage advanced AWS services, Dev Sec Ops  pipelines, and robust monitoring tools to build scalable, secure applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications.
• Maintain automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code to support continuous delivery.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.
• Design, implement, and refine cloud architectures that adhere to security, compliance, and best practices.
• Lead early scoping activities, identify technology risks, and develop architecture solutions.
• Document integration frameworks and implementation guidelines for cloud systems.
• Determine sizing, capacity planning, and requirements for cloud infrastructure, network, and security.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering;
  Bachelor's in a related field required. Masters or PhD acceptable.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages:
  Python, Java, C++, or C#.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, software principles, and best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with monitoring, vulnerability, and logging tools (e.g., Kibana, Sonar Qube).
• Knowledge of NGA’s AWS cloud environment and native services.
• Experience with NGA Dev Sec Ops  pipelines using Git Lab and Open Shift.
• TS/SCI clearance required at hire.
