Senior Quality Engineer

Sovereign Technologies is an USA based information technology consulting and software services firm providing cost effective services and solutions to clients in North America and Asia Pacific.

Responsible for the QA aspect throughout the software development life cycle.

Responsible for following test methodology, test plans and test tools, writing product test documentation (test procedures, test cases, and test results), analyzing test results and recommending corrective action, and configuring/administering/troubleshooting software test environments.

Follow comprehensive QA programs that address all aspects of testing– unit testing, regression testing, usability testing, System testing, Security testing, integration testing, stress and load testing, platform testing, etc.

Responsible for supporting software deployment to the production environment.

Job Requirements :

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

5-7 years of experience in high volume I high complexity data systems analysis and validation including creation of custom SQL queries to perform data validation & gap analysis.

5+ years of designing and building reusable testing automation

Experience with statistical and/or financial analysis to independently validate algorithms.

Ability to translate business needs & requirements into holistic testing strategy.

Validation experience with high volume SOA, OLTP / Data Warehouse / BI reporting solutions. Proficient analytical / problem-solving skills with ability to draw conclusions.

Effective oral and written communication skills with ability to make recommendations.
