Software Architect - Mid

Overview

Join Assured Consulting Solutions as a Mid-Level Software Architect
. Design and develop complex software solutions, API services, cloud infrastructure, and platform services aligned with enterprise architecture and strategic goals.

Base Pay Range: $/yr – $/yr.

Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO (onsite).

Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active TS/SCI clearance granted by the Department of Defense or an Intelligence Community agency, and must pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

• Design, develop, maintain, and document software solution architectures ensuring traceability to Enterprise Architecture and requirements.
• Conduct analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing software systems.
• Develop proposed changes to software solutions architecture design based on analysis of requirements and new technology.
• Prototype new technologies to evaluate feasibility and impact on architecture and business solutions.

• Minimum six years of experience in software design and architecture in government or industry.
• Experience in cloud computing, service orientation, containerization, micro‑services, API development, or Dev Sec Ops .
• Experience delivering working products to customers in a modern, cloud‑based software environment.

• Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering processes, tools, and languages.
• Prior NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience.
• Prior IC or DoD program/project work experience.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology, STEM, or a related field. Six years as a Software Architect may substitute for a degree.

• 12+ years with High School Diploma.
• 6+ years with Bachelor's Degree.

Full‑Time.
