Job Summary

This role will play a pivotal part in leading the development and maintenance of our enterprise data platforms. You will oversee a team of data engineers focused on building scalable, modern data platforms that serve as the foundation for analytics, AI, and machine learning initiatives.
Hybrid – in the corporate office 2–3 days a week.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of data engineers and AI/ML resources.
  • Lead the development of scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support enterprise-wide analytics and AI/ML use cases.
  • Guide the implementation of cloud-based data platforms, data lakes, and enterprise data warehouses.
  • Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes innovation and excellence.
  • Evaluate team performance and establish performance goals, conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Develop work plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones and objectives.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and success criteria.
  • Ensure secure and compliant data access and usage across the organization.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of data platforms.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
  • Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of related experience; 3–5 in a leadership or team lead capacity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience in systems development and project management
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a solid understanding of cloud platforms, data lake architecture, and enterprise data warehousing
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Fabric or comparable cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience in developing and implementing governance processes that enable other teams while gaining buy‑in and ensuring compliance
  • Experience with data integration tools and technologies, including API integration, Alteryx, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), or Azure Data Factory
  • Familiarity with data security, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards
  • Strong ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
  • Experience managing a remote team, including both onshore and offshore resources
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide data engineers
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decision-making
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Hybrid – in the corporate office 2 to 3 days a week
  • Preferred experience with Power BI, including semantic model design, DAX optimization, and enabling self-service analytics for end users.
