The Team Leader:
Compliance Solutions is responsible for leading a team that designs and delivers compliance frameworks, workflow solutions, and data reporting to ensure regulatory adherence and operational efficiency. This role leverages advanced technologies-including Oracle APEX, Microsoft Power Suite (Power BI, Power Automate), SQL Developer, and large data sets from an enterprise data warehouse-to streamline processes and enhance reporting. The position also focuses on complementing supervisory systems and supporting broader digital portfolio initiatives to create scalable solutions.

Strong leadership, technical expertise, and cross‑functional collaboration are essential to successfully embed compliance and technical capabilities into enterprise operations.

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account.

Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Hiring Minimum: $99,200

Hiring Maximum: $168,900

Skills/Requirements

Position Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably in the areas of finance, business, engineering, mathematics, or information systems; advanced degree preferred
  • Series 7, 63/66 or the ability to obtain within 9 months of start; series 9/10 or 24 are a plus
  • A minimum of 6 years business experience, preferably in the areas of finance, compliance, engineering, mathematics, or information systems that include knowledge of regulatory obligations
  • Advanced knowledge of various database structures (DB2, Oracle, Hadoop, No

    SQL), data manipulation and analysis tools (SQL, Hive, Pig, XML, SAS, SPSS, R, Jump), business intelligence (Oracle BI), and visualization tools (Tableau, Qlikview, birst) is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to include conveying highly technical concepts in manners non-technical individuals will understand. Ability to develop and deliver presentations internally and to regulatory or industry authorities.
  • Very strong analytical and critical thinking skills are essential. The ability to thoroughly analyze a situation, determine facts, recognize possibilities, and create innovative solutions is also required.

Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
